“Giving students their own digital domain is a radical act. It gives them the ability to work on the Web and with the Web.”
-Audrey Watters, The Web We Need to Give Students
What is Knight Domains? Essentially, it’s a bit of space on the web to create websites, wikis, or anything else you can dream up. All art majors are required to have a domain by the first semester of sophomore year.
Objectives
• Student will gain agency and skill in learning how to create and manage their domains
• Students will use their domain to present requirements for sophomore review
• Students will use their domain to present proposals for the Senior Art Exhibition
• Students will have a space to build a professional, advertising-free art and design website
St. Norbert College provides domains at no extra cost to students.
